Summary: Discovering just who Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are brings up even more questions for Fred -- and when fate takes another of them away, it's time to go back to the source for some answers.
Why: When I first started reading Harry Potter fanfiction, I was obsessed with the Harry/Draco pairing. However, as time goes on I find myself drawn more and more to Sirius/Remus. This story is an amazing example of why. The story is written from Fred Weasley's perspective as he unravels the mystery of the Marauders. I really love the look the Fred gives us of the Marauders in general and the relationship between Sirius and Remus in particular. Although it's been made AU by HBP, this story is still amazing. It's poignant and real and the ending had me absolutely in tears. This is what Sirius/Remus should be.
