Inuyasha, Briefly by Sharibet (Various | R)

Fandom: Inuyasha
Pairings/Characters: Inuyasha/Kagome, Kagome/Kouga, Kagome/Sesshoumaru
Rating: R
Wordcount: ~1,100
Author: Sharibet on Ff.net
Website: Michaela August - Historical Fiction Author
Summary: Another victim of Kristine Batey's 100word challenge...for me, this is a real challenge. I like to write long. Each chapter its own story.
Why: I'm usually not a big fan of drabbles, but there's something I liked about these. There's a good mix of humor and drama and each drabble is strongly focused on a single central idea. The author claims that she's not very good at the format, but I think she does a really great job with making each drabble pack a punch without cramming too many things into it.

Misery and Company by Gen X (Gen | PG)

Fandom: Final Fantasy 8
Pairings/Characters: Seifer, Zell
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 500
Author: joyeuxnoel
Website: The Thin Blue Line
Summary: "I can't believe I'm stuck in this crappy elevator with you!"
Why: Pretty simple reasoning here: It makes me laugh. It's written all in dialogue, which could be annoying, except the author pulls it off perfectly, nailing Seifer and Zell's voices. And wouldn't you just love to see Seifer and Zell in this position for real?
