Why: As I'm sure anyone who has ventured into the Yugioh fandom knows, bad writing abounds. This, however, is one story that does not have that problem. Chevira Lowe uses the knowledge we're given in the series and Egyptian mythology to create a fascinating backstory for Bakura. It's not a happy story, but it's one that works very well with his character.
