Summary: No matter how well prepared you think you are, life can always surprise you.
Why: My first thought on reading the epilogue to Deathly Hallows was, "Damn, she wrote an epilogue. That was the one thing I sincerely didn't want her to do." My second was, "Well, long live Albus/Scorpius!" However, I was far too lazy to actually go looking for fic. Then, by divine intervention, I noticed this story in one of the newsletters. And it was Scoradh, who wrote some fic that I adore for Prince of Tennis, so I thought, "Well, it's worth a shot." Turns out it was worth a lot more than that. This story is amazing. Scoradh does an amazing job with the characters, creating some lovely original characters in addition to fleshing out the characters that the epilogue gives us. I adore her Albus and Scorpius, and together they are the cutest thing ever. I also solemnly swear that not a single chapter passed by that did not give me something to fangirl over. I really just can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story. The next installment (and I am almost positive that there will be a next installment) has just become my most anticipated fic, so here's hoping it comes out soon!

Before I jump into this, are Harry and Draco in it at all? Or Ron, Hermione, Hogwarts professors we love, etc.?

I'm sure I'd like the fic without them, but I'd love it even more if it gives us that!

Yup, Harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and a whole slew of other characters are still hanging around. Of course, since the story is from Albus's point of view, which means the view isn't always flattering of the big bad parents. Personally, though, I've been pretty amused by the spectacle of watching everyone deal with children, even if I don't agree with their actions when looking at things from Albus's point of view. ;)

Yay! Though this should be interesting since I've read mistful's post epilogue fic and I ♥ ♥ ♥ her Albus and her Scorpius and, well, her everyone!

But I shall give this one a try when I find some time (woe!) so thanks for reccing;)
