Why: I'm not really letting myself read Bleach fic until I catch up with canon, but this one kind of slipped past my defenses a while ago, and I'm really glad it did. I just really like the Renji voice, and I like seeing a slightly softer Byakuya who's still recognizably himself. Also, the parallel structure is the kind of thing that appeals to me. And that's not even mentioning the hot sex. ;)
