Why: How could you not love the idea of this? Doumyouji Tsukasa and Mimura Takuya meeting and becoming kind-of-sort-of friends but not really because all Doumyouji wants to do is prove that he has other friends. And both of them are perfectly characterized and you just can't help but laugh at the way things turn out because knowing both of them, that's exactly what would happen.

Why: I love the way that the author tells a story through Takuya's flower arrangements because even though it's a pretty big part of Takuya, this is the first time I've really seen it used in a fic. Also, even though I usually like longer and more connected formats, somehow the bite-sized format that the author uses here works perfectly for this story. My only possible complaint about this story is that I really wish I could find some more like it!

Why: Ever since I started watching Yamada Tarou Monogatari, the slasher in the back of my head has been screaming, "Nino and Sho Tarou and Mimura are sooo gay!" So, I was pretty much guaranteed to be thrilled when I found fic about them. The fact that it's good fic just makes it better. Even though it's pretty much a PWP, the author did a great job with capturing both of the boy's characters and the relationship between them. If I can find more Yamada Tarou fic that is as good as this is the future, I'm going to be a very happy girl!
