Why: A great deal of the fanfiction for this particular series tends to be darker in nature, simply because that's the series in some ways. That's why finding a story like this is so wonderful. This is a lovely getting-together story for Starbuck and Apollo, one that highlights for me just how important they are to each other, despite how different they may be. Reading this cheered me up so much after something of a depressing day. Beautiful Starbuck voice, beautiful look at Apollo through Starbuck's eyes, in fact, a beautiful everything.
