Why: OK, I'll admit it. This story is a whole lot of wish fulfillment, at least as far as I'm concerned, but I'm honestly ok with that. Because seriously, if Heero's going to die and have schoolchildren learning about him, Duo damn well better show up and set them all straight about the real Heero Yuy. Of course, I'd much prefer Heero alive, but if he's going to be dead, well, this is the way I want it to be.

Why: If you've been reading Gundam Wing fic for any amount of time, I'm sure you've realized that it's a common fandom cliche to have Relena stalking Heero. This story takes a humorous spin on that and throws Duo into the mix as well. This is one of those stories that makes me snicker just to think about it because it's so silly. The Duo POV is nicely executed, and I can't help but take some sadistic pleasure from seeing Heero so confounded. Fun!
