Why: When I think of Howl/Sophie fic, the first thought that occurs to me is 'cuteness incarnate.' This story is no exception. In fact, it stands out as an exemplar of the cute to me because the author comes up an idea that is just perfectly Howl. I can't tell you what it is (I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise), but that's what made the story so wonderful to me. Add in a some lovely subtle moments between Howl and Sophie and some really cute details, and this is a wonderful story for one of my favorite couples.

Summary: Howl must truly be in love, he hasn't been in the bath yet that day. Sophie is curious. What is the fragrance of a happily ever after? Is life truly that different now?
Why: I loved the book so much that I'm always thrilled to find good fanfiction. ^-^ This one is just a short oneshot that takes a look at one possible after for the book. There's not much to it, but it made me smile, and I liked the idea that even in love, Howl and Sophie will never change.
